Murder and arson strike a valley of plum orchards prized by the Shogun himself, and when Usagi, Yukichi and Gen are found wandering among the trees, suspicion falls squarely on them. A mystery with one of Stan Sakai's signature gut-punch endings.
The volume also includes "Tabo," a two-part story of pilgrims searching for a miracle, plus an introduction by Tom Waltz, story notes by Zack Davisson, an afterword by Stan Sakai and a full gallery of the series' variant covers.
